Evaluation is about evidence, learning and reflection. CDC believes that evaluation is at its best, not when it is describing or summarising your work, but when it is investigating what has been achieved, why, how and when.
As part of the learning process our approach is about questioning, seeking evidence and reflecting on the findings.
Sometimes it is about celebrating successes and at other times it’s about being honest and understanding why things did not go to plan.
Christina has built up experience in the area of evaluation and is able to both guide and advise your organisation in the best methods for evaluation and to deliver evaluation services as required.
The evaluation is strongest when it is planned before the start of the project, so that activity can be monitored and recorded when it happens. An obligation-free conversation with Christina at the early stages of your project will help shape your evaluation, and benefit the overall evaluation of outcomes and impact and subsequent recommendations.
Christina listened to our needs and expectations; she then proposed a clear plan with budget, both of which were met, with very successful results. We have been able to draw on Christina’s excellent research and evaluation skills, receiving feedback from partners, clients and funders with high praise for her sensitive and insightful approach. Two very successful pieces of work have been completed that have helped with company developments and identify steps forward for improvement of our work within a wider context to that which we were working before.
